| City Beach Primary is
a feeder school for students who are in the Western Australian Institute
of Sport's Women's and Men's Gymnastics Programme. This is an elite
sports programme which requires significant commitment from these students. Gymnasts train for over 30 hours per week. A typical day sees them at the Gym from 6.45am to 8.45 am before attending school and then returning to the gym for the afternoon training session from 3.00 pm to 7.00 pm. The students train on Saturdays also, giving them only Sundays off to rest, play and catch up with friends and family. |

We are very proud of their efforts and
students regularly represent Western Australia at the National Championships
where many of our students have had a great deal of success.
