Pastoral Care

Our school has a warm and caring environment where safety and respect for others is the underlying foundation.


"ACHIEVING TOGETHER", the School Motto, is a focus for the positive cooperation between all members of the school community.

Cooperative play is rewarded with raffle tickets which accumulate points for the four Houses - Kalari, Templetonia, Marapana and Patonga.

A whole school target is set and when achieved, a whole school incentive is organised by the House Captains and Student Councillors. 

Incentives have been;
   
Sausage Sizzles, Roller Skating / Blading Session, Disco, Tabloid Sports, Free Dress, Face Painting and Sponge Throw.

House Captains and Student Councillors organise many lunchtime activities throughout the year including football, netball, soccer, skipping, hoola hoops, treasure hunts and tabloids.


Our "Buddy System" provides our younger students with a senior "buddy" who works with him in the classroom and who is available in the playground if the younger student has a problem.  This system is introduced in Pre Primary when the senior student is in Year 6, and continues into Year 1 and 7.
